Plot

Two high school students decide not to throw their last big party before the new millennium on New Year’s Eve 1999. The night gets even crazier than they ever dreamed it would be when the clock strikes midnight. Y2K stars Rachel Zegler, Julian Dennison and Jaden Martel talk about their characters, reveal the references they missed, and share the artists’ recordings they cut to get into character. Rachel Zegler replaced Jen Ortega in the lead role due to scheduling conflicts. Garrett: Computer, is it cool if I never met my dad?
