Welcome to the world of Minecraft, where creativity not only helps with artwork, but is essential for human survival! Four misfits—Garrett "Garbage Man" Garrison (Jason Momoa), Henry (Sebastian Eugene Hansen), Natalie (Emma Myers), and Donna (Danielle Brooks)—struggle with the usual problems when they are suddenly transported through a mysterious portal to the Overworld: a strange, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they will have to master this world (and keep it safe from evil things like pigs and zombies) while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected, seasoned craftsman, Steve (Jack Black). Together, their adventure will challenge all five to be brave and reconnect with the qualities that make each of them uniquely creative—the very skills they need to thrive in the real world again.
